L'analogia con la storia dell'uomo è ovvia: quello they did the conquistadors in Africa and Latin America, what did the French and the English in North America, what did the British in India and Australia. The story has no fantasy because it relies on a logic that has no ethics and no respect for others' cultures and lives.
religiosity of Na'vi is the same as the ancient peoples: Native Americans, Aborigines, the Mayas, the Actechi. The earth is the Great Mother, or rather, the Great Mother Nature is all that protects us but does not force anyone to defend it as it leaves the choice to everybody. Free will, the duality between what is good and what is evil, it is for everyone and rarely the Great Mother helps us in this choice. Unless it feels to be in total harmony. But more often than not, his rebellion signifies the end of human life. Not so in Avatar, in which the Great Mother sends her children to help "children".
The Vatican, as always, wrong target in his comments: he decreed that Avatar is a movie that winks to paganism and would then be avoided. Error! And I would say, to err is human, but to persevere is diabolical.
are not yet happy with the lies they have told us so far, are still not happy to have gone hand in hand with the most criminal dictators, are still not happy to stir up hostility to nature.
In fact, I think it was a Pope who has come close to that though many people have with this pope, however, moved away permanently.
But I do not mean that Christians should necessarily leave the Church of Rome.
What I mean is that we must open our minds to many doors, we must not speak or think in stereotypes: you follow shamanism, and then you're my enemy, you are Hindu, and then my enemy, you are pagan and heretical, and then my enemy.
Originally it looked like all religions: in all ancient cultures meet the same gods with different names but the same characteristics. That have originated from the Anunnaki or by the Assyrians or the Egyptians or Maya does not matter. Around the world the ancient testimonies speak of the same cult, the cult of the sun, the stars, for Nature ...
The monotheistic religions were born after, each other, transforming, willing or not, messages, and the animals have become expendable (even in a bloody manner), women have become null and void, nature has become a slave of men.
So I wonder: who are the heretics? Who is pure? Who in the right?
E 'right who enslaves his wife and daughters? E 'in the right who sacrifices an animal on the altar of a god? E 'in the right who delves into the depths Earth causing incurable wounds to get rich? E 'in the right who enslaves innocent children to collect from the ground a few flakes of gold? E 'in the right people who build the bombs that burn entire forests? E 'in the right people who build nuclear power plants cause cancer, birth defects and genetic damage for generations?
O is in the right people looking to work honestly for his own people, trying to use, with respect, the natural resources for the welfare of all?
The Indians' America hunted the buffalo just for the needs of their tribes, the bravest warriors were given the task of hunting for widows, orphans and homosexuals who were considered to be the visionaries people and held in high respect. Only after satisfying the needs of these three categories, they could hunt for themselves and their families and felt that they did all this honor. The bison were in large quantities until the white man came to build railroads and wagons did not begin to hunt by shooting the animal and make no distinction between old animals or pets.
Since the Indians were dressed in skins, or does not even those such as Crazy Horse who wore only a loincloth, were considered "wild" and therefore expendable and deportable. In fact, Custer called them "animals" do not belong to mankind. Instead, they
an advanced culture: did not know the private property because you can not sell the earth on which man walks, respected their elders who were those who "knew" and "knew everything", were the wisdom of the people, its history, respected children who could roam from one tent to another and sit around the fire most preferred; respected homosexuals, which they believed would hold a sign from God, respected women skinning the buffalo, know how to treat your skin, soften and sew to make clothes, blankets and roofs of the tents, cooked dried skin mixed with blueberries and other fruits.
probably the ancient cultures recognize the points where the Earth had more energy or magnetism and built their temples, their cemeteries or their totem.
Think of what we lost and what we could recapture.
There are movies or books that make us relive it all and we open up new horizons.
not allow anybody to ban them.
